The Lighthouse at Race Rocks

Race Rocks lighthouse is technically an unmanned lighthouse, however, through an alliance with Pearson College, funding is provided for an ecoguardian/lighthouse keeper to live there for a major portion of the school year.

The current inhabitant is Ryan Murphy, the photographer of R is for Race Rocks in the book Amazing British Columbia.

And thank you for the lovely photo of the lighthouse and the ocean at rest. It makes a great contrast to the way Ryan photographed his part-time home.
